How Super Sub Works

It's simple and completely automatic. All you need to do is look for the "SS" icon on eligible betting markets.

1. Log in to your LeoVegas account.

2. Find a football match and look for markets displaying the "SS" icon (e.g. Goalscorer, Player to be Carded).

3. Place your bet as normal.

4. That's it! If your player is substituted, Super Sub takes over and your bet continues on the replacement player. If that player is also substituted, your bet will transfer to the next replacement in the chain.

Example You place a bet on Kylian Mbappe to score for France in a match at odds of 2.00.

In the 75th minute, Mbappe is substituted and replaced by Marcus Thuram.

Under normal circumstances, your bet would be void. However, thanks to Super Sub, your bet is automatically transferred to Thuram at the same odds.

If the match goes into extra time, your bet remains active during extra time. However, penalty shootouts are not included.

How is my Super Sub bet settled?

To determine the outcome of your bet, your original player and all subsequent replacements are treated as a single selection.

This means that qualifying events (such as goals or cards) recorded by any player in the Super Sub chain will count towards settling the bet in accordance with the rules of the relevant market.

Can I use Super Sub with bonuses or promotions?

Yes, there are no restrictions.

You can place bets with the Super Sub feature while using an odds boost, a free bet or any other promotional offer.

Is Cash Out available on Super Sub bets?

Yes. Both full and partial Cash Out work exactly as normal on bets where Super Sub is active, provided Cash Out is available on the specific market.

What happens if the player I backed does not start the match?

If the selected player does not start the match, the bet will be void and your stake will be refunded.

What happens if an outfield player is replaced by a goalkeeper?

Even in this rare scenario, Super Sub will activate and the bet will be transferred to the substitute goalkeeper.

Super Sub Terms & Conditions:

• Only player markets displaying the SuperSub icon at the time the bet is placed are eligible for the feature.
• This feature applies to both pre-match and live betting.
• This feature applies to singles, multiples and bet builders as long as they contain a relevant player market.
• The feature only applies to qualifying football matches for 90 minutes of play including injury time. For matches at the 2026 Men's World Cup finals, the feature also applies to any extra time in the knockout phase. The feature does not apply to penalty shootouts.
• If the outcome of the bet is determined before the substitution takes place, the feature does not apply and the bet will be settled according to the normal rules.
• The feature does not apply if the bet is fully cashed out before the substitution.
• The substitute will be recorded by our official data provider and will be shown on your bet slip.
• The substitute player(s) must have officially entered the field of play and been confirmed by LeoVegas’ official data provider before the bet is transferred. Once confirmed, the substitute player will become the selected player for settlement purposes and will be recorded on the bet slip
• If the selected player does not start the match, the bet will be void and your stake will be refunded.
• SuperSub is enabled as part of our offering indefinitely. However, LeoVegas reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the SuperSub feature for future bets at any time. Any qualifying bets already accepted before such amendment, suspension or withdrawal will continue to be settled in accordance with the SuperSub rules that applied at the time the bet was placed.
