Thought of as one of the safest strategies to use when playing roulette, the Fibonacci strategy is based on the well-known Fibonacci sequence. With roots dating back to the thirteenth century, the set of integers starts with zero, which is then followed by numbers that increase in amount as the sequence progresses. In roulette, the Fibonacci strategy is considered a negative progression strategy because players increase their wagers after a loss using this sequence. Using it, players are able to combine the value of two previous wagers after a loss.
It’s not as hard as it sounds, as long as players remember the main rule: each number is the sum of the previous two numbers added together. This can start at any amount a player chooses to start wagering with, and it can be applied indefinitely if a player wants it to.

This strategy isn't difficult to learn how to play. Players can work out their strategy before they place a wager, organise their bankroll and decide how much money they plan to wager. It’s also considered easier to use than the Martingale as players don’t go all the way back to their original wager with the Fibonacci strategy, but instead, just go back two numbers in the sequence.
Also, it doesn't cancel out all of a player's losses with one big win as players are only aiming to cancel out their previous two losses.
Although the aim is to cancel out the last two previous losses, players will need to win a game after winning back their losses to win everything. But as with other strategies, the Fibonacci strategy doesn’t guarantee a player will win.
Additionally, because this strategy is a negative progression, if a player’s initial wager is small, then it’ll take time for them to win a decent amount. Table limits can also stop the sequence, so if an online casino has a capped limit of $100, the highest any player could go using the Fibonacci sequence is $89.

The Labouchère strategy is ideal for any players that are comfortable using numbers. To begin with, a player decides the total amount of money they want to win. After they’ve done this, they split this into smaller random amounts to place on an even wager. So if a player wants to win $100, they may split this into $15, $25, $30, $20, or $10.
They then use the numbers furthest left and right to make their first bet. So, in this instance, it’s $25 ($15 + $10) a player will wager with. If they win, the player will use the total of the next two furthest numbers $45 ($25 + $20) to wager with next.
If they lose, the amount wagered gets placed on the position farthest right, meaning this line will now be: $15, $25, $30, $20, $10, and $25. The player will then use the total of the numbers furthest left and right, which is $40 ($15 + $25). This is continued until the player decides to stop playing or has won the amount they had originally set out to win, which is $100 in this example.
There are two trains of thought when it comes to answering this. Albert Einstein was once quoted, “No one can win at roulette unless he steals money from the table while the croupier isn’t looking”. In other words, there's no way math helps players win at roulette. It’s why it’s often referred to as a game of chance. This means that luck typically plays more of a part when it comes to winning or losing.
