Here at LeoVegas, we’ve seen Leprechauns go to Hell, to Egypt and a load of other places, proof that Leprechauns are apparently, quite the travellers. But the Treasure Island slot by Northern Lights sees the Leprechaun all at sea, more literally than figuratively, because he really is on a big pirate ship.

This is one of those online slots where the action never stops and with a top prize of 5,000x your bet, you certainly don’t want it to.

There are plenty of them so let’s go through them all.

This isn’t just a pun on ‘wind breaker’, it’s also your route to having some big multipliers in play for you. It starts at 10x and each time you get two Scatters, a token will be added to the ‘Meter’. Get 25 tokens and you’ll move to the next Win Breaker value.

Underneath each of the five reels, there’s a Compass symbol, which has four segments in it. Every time a compass symbol lands on that reel, the compass will fill up one of those four segments.

When all four are full, a Stacked Wild will appear on that reel covering all four positions for the next spin. The Stacked Wild stays in place for the next few spins but each time, the Wild will cover one less position, until it’s disappeared from the reels entirely. It goes without saying that the Stacked Wild helps you secure a load more wins and that more than one reel can be stacked with Wilds at any given time.

Getting three or more Scatters is the name of the game here (see below) but two isn’t too bad, as long as they’re on the top three rows. Those reels will stay in position and the other reels will spin with the Scatter moving down one position with each spin. This will carry on until the Scatters reach the bottom row or you land five Scatters.
But if you get three Scatters, you’ll activate the free spins round anyway.

Three, four or five Scatters will give you free spins with a Win Breaker multiplied by 1x, 1.5x or 2x.
Unlike at most other popular slots, you’re not awarded a specific number of free spins.
Instead, you’ll keep spinning until on a single spin you’ve reached the minimum limit. Reach it and the round ends with you banking that amount. Or you’ll keep spinning all over again until you do.
However, a Treasure Chest found during the round that has a Clover behind it will reveal any number of different goodies, such as a cash prize, winning one of the four Jackpots, or the reels expanding up to being 6 rows high. All of which can only be a good thing.
You can choose to Buy this feature if you wish by clicking on the Buy icon to the right of the reels but it’s not cheap, so think long and hard about whether it’s worth it. The greater the Wind Breaker level, the more it will cost you.

A fun day trip on an old pirate ship seems like fun but it probably won’t come cheaply. Unlike playing this slot in free to play mode which doesn’t so much come cheaply, as for free.
