It's one of Cheltenham's big meetings of the season this weekend as the Cotswolds venue hosts the November Meeting, offering three days of top class jumps racing at Prestbury Park.

They have Triumph Hurdle and Arkle Trials on Saturday alongside the November Gold Cup, while on Sunday the Greatwood Hurdle headlines. We have picked out some horses to consider across the weekend at Cheltenham's November Meeting.

Saturday

12:35 - JCB Triumph Trial Juvenile Hurdle (Grade 2) There are a host of Irish raiders with leading chances on Saturday and Gold Cup-winning trainer Gavin Cromwell could get the raiders up and running with SECRET FORCE in this Triumph Hurdle Trial. The ex-Godolphin-owned son of Frankel is 2-2 since joining this yard. He won on heavy ground at Listowel on the Flat in September and doubled up with an impressive debut performance over timber last month at Punchestown. Keith Donoghue's partner is well worth a crack in this grade despite some quality opponents like One Horse Town, Lord, Precious Man and Parchment.

Selection: Secret Force @ 5/1

1.45 - Arkle Challenge Trophy Trial Novices' Chase (Grade 2)

Henry de Bromhead's superb record with two-mile chasers could be enhanced here as JULY FLOWER looks like the one to beat in this Arkle Trial. The mare had some smart form in France and won a Grade 3 over hurdles at Leopardstown last December on stable bow and ran well in the Grade 1 Mares' Hurdle here in March. She jumped superbly and won well at Limerick in her chasing debut last month and could be the latest smart sort to emerge from the Waterford yard in this division.

Selection: July Flower @ 6/5

2.20 - Gold Cup Handicap Chase (Premier Handicap)

De Bromhead's runner Coming Up Easy is fancied to run well in this feature race but so, too, is Alan King's ES PERFECTO. He's 10 but was still a novice over fences last season, winning twice and running well in the Jack Richards Novices' Limited Handicap Chase here at the Festival in March behind next-time-out Grade 1 winner Caldwell Potter. He goes especially well when fresh and runs from an unchanged mark now, ensuring he's an each-way contender in an open race.

Selection: Es Perfecto @ 16/1

Sunday

2.20 - Hine Solicitors Talking Sense Handicap Chase

The rain that hit Cheltenham on Friday will have pleased trainer Kerry Lee as she saddles CABHFUILFUNGI in this 2m event and he's proven on a testing surface. He posted figures of 22U122 in six attempts last season over fences and his form after the turn of the year was all on soft/heavy going. He romped home at Southwell on New Year's Day and was second in races that worked out well at Chepstow and Bangor afterwards. He goes well fresh and is returning from an unchanged mark now.

Selection: Cabhfuilfungi @ 9/2

2.55 - Oddschecker Handicap Chase (Premier Handicap)

The Skeltons are rolling the dice with PROTEKTORAT in this handicap and it could pay off. He's a Grade 1 winner around here in the past over shorter but also won an attritional Betfair Chase at Haydock in 2022. He was very good at Windsor in January in the Fleur De Lys Chase over 2m6f and did little wrong in Grade 1s over 2m4f here and at Aintree in the spring, those events won by Fact To File and Jonbon. This is the longest trip he has tackled but his class could be the difference.

Selection: Protektorat @ 3/1

3.30 - Greatwood Handicap Hurdle (Premier Handicap)

One of the feature races of the weekend is the Greatwood Hurdle and a field of 20 runners ensure it is going to be very competitive. Top-weight Celtic Dino impressed in the Welsh Champion Hurdle five weeks ago but his burden is a worry and so ALEXEI could turn the tables for David Pipe. He was second in the Chepstow contest and won handsomely since in a good contest at Ascot this month that has already produced a subsequent winner. He's gone up 7lb for that but is still 3lb better off with his re-opposing rival and the stiff finish here should suit Brendan Powell's partner.

Selection: Alexei @ 17/2
