Here at LeoVegas, we are proud to call ourselves the King of Casino but there is so much more to us than just being an online casino. This has never been evidenced more than with our sponsorship of one of the most successful club sides in Rugby Union history: Leicester Tigers.
Our sponsorship with Leicester Tigers got underway back in 2017. The partnership proved to be an excellent one, with the lions of LeoVegas complementing the Leicester Tigers perfectly. We continue to provide exceptional online betting opportunities for our players, with betting odds available for each game throughout the domestic and European rugby union season.
We are extremely proud to be the official betting partner of the club yet again, which sees the LeoVegas logo placed on the club’s shorts for each match. In addition to this, the partnership also stretches to the LeoVegas Mobile Casino App plus advertising space and perimeter boards at the immense Welford Road stadium.
As a Leicester Tigers fan, you could also benefit from matchday tickets and hospitality thanks to giveaways via our Twitter account throughout the season, so remember to follow and keep an eye on @LeoVegasSportUK.
The club was founded all the way back in 1880 and made the iconic Welford Road their home just two years later in 1882.
Welford Road holds a capacity of 25,849, allowing plenty of Tigers fans to have eyes and ears on the action.
The 2018/19 season ended with an 11th place finish for Leicester Tigers, meaning they will play in the European Rugby Challenge Cup during the 2019/20 season.
Leicester Tigers are the most successful Rugby club in England, having won a record 10 English Premiership titles which is four more than the closest rival.
The first of these titles was won in the 1987/88 season, with the most recent Premiership title win coming in 2012/13.
Leicester Tigers supplied seven players for the 2003 Rugby World Cup winning England squad: Martin Johnson ©, Neil Back, Lewis Moody, Martin Corry, Ben Kay, Julian White and Dorian West.
Leicester Tigers have never been relegated from the top division of English rugby.
Though the Tigers first kit back in the early 1880’s was black and white, they have since become famous for their green, red and white shirts.
Dave Matthews has the appearance record for the club with 502, Dusty Hare the points record with 4,507 and Percy Lawrie the tries record with 206.
