Bayern Munich v Fortuna Dusseldorf Betting Tips

The gap at the top of the Bundesliga table is now up to 7 points after Bayern Munich claimed a huge win at Signal Iduna Park on Tuesday night. Borussia Dortmund tried their best, but struggled to break through and create clear-cut chances against the defending champions. From a neutral point of view, it wasn’t a great result for the title race itself and it looks increasingly likely that the Bavarians will lift their 30th top flight title.

From a betting point of view, we list Bundesliga betting markets for each and every match throughout the season. We also have the latest online betting odds for other matches that return in the top leagues across the world as well, with football betting odds markets stretching from match-winner to building your own bet.

Freiburg vs Bayer Leverkusen - 7:30pm 29th May

We’re all hoping for goals in the Friday night game this week, as both sides have seen plenty since the return. Freiburg more than played their part in a six goal thriller with their 3-3 draw at Frankfurt on Tuesday. When Leverkusen play there are usually goals too, with over 3.5 goals being scored in each of their three games since the league returned. It was all going so well until a surprise 4-1 hammering by Wolfsburg on Tuesday, but they’ll be hoping that it’s more of an anomaly than the new norm.

Mainz vs Hoffenheim - 2:30pm 30th May

This is a huge fixture for Mainz, as the three teams below them in the relegation battle all face difficult matches. Thus, this is a great chance for them to move clear of the bottom. After struggling since their return, Hoffenheim finally got back to winning ways on Wednesday against Koln, carried through by a special performance by Christoph Baumgartner. The hosts are so inconsistent, so the Hoffenheim resurgence may well continue.

Wolfsburg vs Eintracht Frankfurt- 2:30pm 30th May

As mentioned, Wolfsburg shocked a lot of people with their win over Leverkusen and the hunt for European qualification is well and truly on for them. They had a shock hero too, as Croatian defender Marin Pongracic scored his first ever Bundesliga goal and then followed it up with another. The random fixture computer has been pretty tough on Eintracht Frankfurt, as they have faced a number of top sides in a row. Things have not gone well for them either, without a win since their return and conceding 11 goals in three games. All signs point to a Wolfsburg success.

Schalke vs Werder Bremen - 2:30pm 30th May

Simply put, Schalke are in shambles. Since their return, they have lost 4-0, 3-0 and 2-1, with the latter of which being against relegation battlers Fortuna Dusseldorf. David Wagner has a serious test of his managerial skills coming up, and they really need a win here against the side that are second bottom. On form though, Werder Bremen are doing a lot better recently, with a win over Freiburg and a draw against Borussia Monchengladbach. More positive results are needed to try and save themselves, and considering how bad Schalke are they may well get it.

Hertha Berlin vs Augsburg - 2:30pm 30th May

New Hertha Berlin boss Bruno Labbadia has done well since taking over, and has his side playing some good stuff. As well as beating Hoffenheim and drawing away to Leipzig, it was the 4-0 derby win over Union Berlin that the fans will be the most happy with. For the visitors, many fans watching on TV may have fallen asleep watching Augsburg’s boring 0-0 draw with Paderborn in the midweek fixture, so hopefully we see more entertainment here. It’s likely to be backs against the wall stuff for Augsburg though.

Bayern Munich vs Fortuna Dusseldorf - 5:30pm 30th May

It should not be a shock to find that Bayern Munich are overwhelming 1/20 favourites to win this game. The unstoppable machine just continues to roll, and the 30th top flight title looks like a matter of time. It was not Robert Lewandowski that was the match winner for once, as Joshua Kimmich beat the Dortmund keeper Burki with a sumptuous chip. Fortuna may well be looking at this game as a free hit, but they do have a tough run of fixtures after this one too.

Bayern -3: 11/8

Borussia Monchengladbach vs Union Berlin - 2:30pm 31st May

Rolling into Sunday, Borussia Monchengladbach will not be too happy with their last couple of results. They really need to get their groove back, and this is a great chance to do that. Champions League football would be a great achievement for Die Fohlen, but they are in a tough fight. Union are four points clear of the relegation play-off place and they are likely to be safe. Therefore, there is perhaps a question mark about how much they will commit to the games with a bit of pressure off.

Gladbach To Win: 12/25

Paderborn vs Borussia Dortmund- 5:00pm 31st May

Bottom of the league against 2nd place seems like it can only go one way. Paderborn though have performed better than some of their results have suggested, but the gulf in the size of these two clubs and the quality of the players on the pitch makes things so difficult for them. Dortmund hate losing to Bayern more than anyone else, and thus they’ll be out to prove a point here which clearly does not bode well for Paderborn.

Dortmund To Win: 3/10

Koln vs RB Leipzig - 7:30pm 1st June

The Bundesliga rolling into June is an extremely unique thing, but 2020 is no ordinary year. The 1st June sees RB Leipzig travel to Koln with their title bid all but over. 9 points behind Bayern, the focus for Julian Nagelsmann’s side now is to ensure that they qualify for the Champions League next season, whenever that may be. Koln are pretty much midtable, with nothing left to play for other than moving up a couple of places. Timo Werner is the centre of plenty of transfer rumours yet again, but he’ll be focused on scoring more goals for his current club.

RB Leipzig To Win: 12/25
