Multihand Blackjack’s Special Features

Play ‘n GO’s Multihand Blackjack has all of the blackjack classic features from splits to insurance, and loads more. Despite not having many unique features, Multihand Blackjack is packed with excitement. As with most video blackjack table games, bonus features, and free hands are a rarity and usually prove distracting from the core game mechanics of blackjack.

Multihand Blackjack Theme and Design

The pure quality of the graphics, sound, and smooth gameplay is super impressive for any title released in 2022, yet Play‘n GO has had this intricately detailed game available on virtual casino floors since 2014! The slow jam jazz that plays in the background and the alluring voice of the dealer creates an environment that makes you feel as if you have your very own private blackjack room at the Bellagio on the Las Vegas Strip. If you think the visuals are dated and blocky because the game was released in 2014, and the audio is all it has to offer, you are mistaken. The graphical quality of Multihand Blackjack is still utterly breath-taking to this day.

How to Win in Multihand Blackjack

Multihand Blackjack plays exactly the same as any other blackjack table game, except you can play up to three hands at once, making your chances of winning even better.

For those who are not familiar with the rules of blackjack, the aim of the game is to land on or get as close to the total amount of 21 as possible without going over, which is known as going bust.

How to Play Multihand Blackjack

First, you need to choose how much you want to wager by clicking on the chip representing the amount you want to bet. Then, choose if you are going to play a single, double, or triple hand. You do so by clicking on the beautifully drawn card outlines on the mat.

Once you have done this, you will click on ‘Deal’. The dealer will then deal two cards to each hand. The cards represent their own values, i.e. 1=1, 10=10, J/Q/K=10. If you’re new to blackjack, note the Ace can act with a value of 10 or one.

As your hand is dealt, you will have the option to ‘Stand’, which means you do not want any more cards dealt to that hand . Or, you can choose to ‘Hit’, which means you’re going to be dealt another card and its value will be added to your existing two. You can continue to ‘Hit’ until you’re comfortable and happy with your value. You can also choose to ‘Double Down’ which means you double your betted amount, but the next card dealt to you will be the last one dealt to you, so strategizing is important.

Lastly, you may be offered to take insurance on your hand if the dealer is dealt an Ace as their first card. This is to help you mitigate any losses if the dealer has blackjack from the first deal. Most experienced blackjack players will advise not to bother with insurance as it is usually more expensive than any loss.
