Gates of Olympus 1000 is a 2023 follow-up to one of Pragmatic Play’s most popular online slot games, the original Gates of Olympus. This update, which sees king of the gods Zeus returning to Mount Olympus, has refreshed visuals and smooth, attractive graphics. Like the original, Gates of Olympus 1000 uses a Scatter Pays system rather than the traditional paylines mechanic. Instead of having to match symbols in horizontal lines, you get a winning combination when you match eight or more symbols anywhere on the 6x5 grid.
The Cluster Pays system is also supported by a Tumbling Reels mechanic. When you match eight or more symbols for a win, they disappear to be replaced by new symbols. These could also trigger a win in turn, allowing the potential for multiple wins from the same spin.

Gates of Olympus 1000 has a number of special bonus features, including the following.
Tumbling Reels
Gates of Olympus 1000 uses a Scatter Pays mechanic rather than traditional paylines. Matching eight or more symbols anywhere on the grid results in a winning combination.
This will also trigger the Tumbling Reels mechanic. All the winning symbols will disappear, allowing new ones to tumble in to replace them. This could result in more wins from the same spin.
The Tumbling Reels will continue to play out automatically until there are no more winning combinations in play.
Free Spins
Landing four or more Scatter symbols triggers the Free Spins feature. Zeus himself is the Scatter symbol in this game.
The bonus round starts with 15 free spins, but if you land three or more Scatters during this mode, an additional five free games will be awarded.
When a multiplier symbol lands during the Free Spins round, the value will be added to the round’s total multiplier. This is then applied to any win whenever a new symbol hits.
