That’s the case in Primal Spirits, where all symbols in a winning combination are removed, and new ones tumble into the spaces left behind.

On-screen, you will see a totem to the left of your reels. When this totem glows blue, red, green or purple, the lower-paying symbols of that colour are transformed into their higher-paying counterparts — this is the so-called ‘Totem Trance’.

Following on from the tumbling reels and Totem Trance comes the colour multiplier feature.

To the right of your reels, you will see another totem. This displays a multiplier for each colour of symbol in the game. Landing a win via the Totem Trance feature will add a 1x multiplier to the respective colour, while golden Totem Trance wins add 1x to each of the four colours.

Any subsequent win you land featuring that colour will increase the multiplier value displayed on the totem.
