Description of Cubes

Remember Rubik’s Cubes? Hacksaw Gaming’s Cubes might just bring back a few memories! This 5x5 cluster pays game sees players matching up different coloured tiles as they tumble into view. Match up at least five tiles of the same colour and win a prize – while the grid expands!
The grid expands up to 11x11 tiles, its maximum size. You’ll then get the chance to line up more colour clusters, adding to the final total. There are also multiplier symbols to look out for, increasing prizes by up to 22x.
The Cubes slot machine is less of a reel-spinner and more of a tile-tumbler, but there are roughly 3,167 ways to win. There’s a minimum bet amount of £0.20, and a max bet of £100.

What are the features of Cubes?

Cubes has a stack of features that help keep those tiles tumbling!

Free spins

Unlike traditional slot games, Cubes moves away from scatter symbols, instead granting players free spins once they highlight the word ‘CUBES’ lettered above the grid. To light up all five letters, you must land five winning clusters of different colours.
Fill out the entire word, and you’ll get to pick from one of six mystery cubes – and claim up to 10 free spins, along with a ‘sticky’ colour. Your sticky colour – green, for example – will hold in place across your free spins without resetting.
Free spins can grant players up to a maximum of 2,500x their opening stake, from clusters worth 70 cubes in a sticky colour.

Expanding grid

Each time you tumble a winning cluster of five or more tiles in the same colour, the grid expands – from 5x5, up to 7x7, then up to 9x9, and finally 11x11. This allows for more potential winning clusters to fall into view.

The expanding grid will reset during the base game if you lose. However, in the free spins bonus, the grid stays expanded until the round is over.

Progressive multiplier

It’s possible to gain a multiplier to add to colour clusters using the white ‘x’ symbols at each corner of the grid. Make a cluster including these symbols, and your prize total will multiply.
The game adds multipliers together should you land more cluster wins when the grid expands, with a maximum of 22x win available.

Game info about Cubes

Hacksaw Gaming unveiled Cubes to the world on 18th March 2020. It’s a bright, colourful and retro-tinged game, though it’s not officially linked to a certain toy from the 1980s!

Cubes is a laid-back, casual title that pushes an eye-catching, multicolour aesthetic – with quirky sound effects thrown in for good measure.

Hacksaw Gaming also have this to offer

Hacksaw Gaming is well-known for fast-action, multicolour games elsewhere in its catalogue. Stack’em, for example, is a cartoony cluster game offering special symbols, free spins, and… can stacking. It’s likely not what you’re expecting, honestly!
Elsewhere, there’s the neon-tinted Miami Multiplier, taking players back to the 80s. This 4x4 slot game follows a little more of the classic reel-spinning setup, but it’s just as eye-catching as Cubes.
Finally, Fruit Duel shows off Hacksaw Gaming’s famous 3x3 gaming grid. There are free spins and hidden multipliers to unlock across just nine symbols.
