AS Roma vs AC Milan - 5pm 27th October
The headline Serie A game this weekend is arguably taking place at the Stadio Olimpico, as Roma host AC Milan. While the Serie A title looks like it may be a straight fight between Juventus and Inter (although the season is only eight games old), both these teams are still in contention for Champions League places come May. Roma, who are sixth heading into the weekend, were linked with Jack Rodwell earlier this week. Should he join, the Englishman would be teaming up with his fellow countryman Chris Smalling. The Manchester United loanee and his La Magica teammates have drawn their last two league games, and they made it three draws in a row on Thursday against Borussia Monchengladbach in the Europa League. This fixture finished 1-1 last season, but they will want to return to winning ways against a Milan side who they last beat in a league game at home in the 2016/17 season.
ROMA 1-1 AC MILAN FT - ODDS: 23/4
AC Milan are currently in tenth in the Serie A table and new manager Stefano Pioli will be looking for a big performance in his second game in charge of I Rossoneri. He was on course for a dream start in charge at the San Siro against Leece, until a Calderoni goal in stoppage time meant he had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The Italian will be hoping to turn around the clubs early season troubles and return them to European football when their one year ban for financial fair play breaches ends. To do so, he will probably need to hope their current top scorer for the season Piatek can add to his three league goals this season.
