Premier League Preview GW 7 | LeoVegas | 100% Profit Boost

30th October 2020

Despite defeat last week, Everton are still the front runners in the Premier League, just ahead of their bitter rivals Liverpool on goal difference. By the time the Blues kick-off at St James’ Park on Sunday they may well have been temporarily knocked from their perch, as this increasingly unpredictable season continues to provide shocks. There are several intriguing games this week, including a clash of the giants between Man United and Arsenal at Old Trafford, as well as Sheffield United hosting Man City. We’ll be taking a look at all the latest Premier League tips and UK sports betting odds.

Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Crystal Palace - 8:00pm 30th October

Wolves will have been hugely disappointed not to beat Newcastle last week, as the Magpies scored with their only real chance. Nuno continues to use Adama Traore as a super-sub, which continues to surprise many onlookers. For Palace, they are once again looking to Wilfried Zaha as their talisman, with the winger-turned-striker having scored five goals so far. Both of these sides are defensively minded first, so we’re expecting a close game on Friday. Wolves’ last three games have all been Under 2.5 Goals, and it’s not likely to be free-flowing football, so we’re going for Under 2.5 Goals once again.

Under 2.5 Goals: 1/2

Sheffield United vs Manchester City - 12:30pm 31st October

Sheffield United are struggling massively at the moment and just can’t seem to pick up positive results. The issues seem to be at both ends of the pitch, conceding more goals and struggling to score. The bad news for the Blades is that they’re winless in their last six meetings with Man City too. It’s tough to know what to make of Man City so far, sitting way down in 13th but having played one less game than most. There’s no getting away from the fact that their levels have dropped off since last season. They have been missing key players though, with Aguero and Jesus currently out. Kevin De Bruyne should be back, however, and we’re backing him to grab an assist at Bramall Lane.

De Bruyne Assist: Evens

Burnley vs Chelsea - 3:00pm 31st October

Burnley have had some real problems scoring goals, finding the net just once in their last four Premier League games. Sat in the relegation zone, Sean Dyche knows results will have to follow soon. The Clarets have a poor record against the Blues in the Premier League, having only won one of the 12 games against them. Chelsea did travel to Russia in the Champions League on Wednesday so there could be some rotation. The squad is more than good enough to win this though, and Christian Pulisic will have good memories of this fixture after his hat-trick last season. All things considered, we’d be surprised if Chelsea didn’t come away from Turf Moor with the three points.

Chelsea To Win: 13/25

Liverpool vs West Ham United - 5:30pm 31st October

Liverpool have been picking up results, but there are some big problems with injuries at the moment. With no Van Dijk, Matip or Fabinho, Joe Gomez is the only fit senior centre back, and it’s very evident that this Reds side will be lacking height throughout the team. There are issues for the Hammers too though, as the main striker Michail Antonio is out with a hamstring injury. With all things considered, we’re backing Tomas Soucek to grab a goal as the Czech midfielder is extremely dominant in the air. This should be an entertaining affair.

Soucek To Score: 17/4

Aston Villa vs Southampton - 12:00pm 1st November

This may actually be the hardest game of the week to call. On their day, both sides can be great, but it’s tough to know what we’ll get. Aston Villa are a bit Jekyll and Hyde, where one week they’ll be fantastic but the next it all falls apart. Southampton are a lot more consistent in general and their main man might as well be renamed “Mr Consistent”. Danny Ings grabbed 22 goals for the Saints last season and already has four goals and two assists this season. The England striker also scored twice at Villa Park last season, and we believe he may find the net once again on Sunday.

Ings To Score: Evens

Newcastle United vs Everton - 2:00pm 1st November

Steve Bruce surprised everyone with the team sheet at Wolves, with five wingers in the starting 11. It worked in the end though, as shock inclusion Jacob Murphy grabbed an equaliser late on. As mentioned, Everton are still top of the table but were very poor on the south coast against Southampton. In very similar fashion to our Danny Ings pick in the previous game, Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored twice at St James’ Park last season, and with his seven Premier League goals so far, we would not be surprised if he scored again.

Calvert-Lewin To Score: 26/25

Manchester United vs Arsenal - 4:30pm 1st November

After last weekend’s disappointing 0-0 draw against Chelsea, it’s not easy to predict which version of Manchester United will show up. Marcus Rashford has been phenomenal on and off the pitch recently, with a fantastic Champions League hat-trick against RB Leipzig. He has a decent record in the big games, and could well lead the Red Devils to a victory in this one. Arsenal have struggled in the Premier League, and have lost their last two Premier League games 1-0. It could be the same story on Sunday.

Man United To Win: 26/25

Tottenham Hotspur vs Brighton & Hove Albion - 7:15pm 1st November

Everything was looking great for Spurs up until Thursday night, but a disappointing defeat at Antwerp in the Europa League brought them back down to earth. In the Premier League though, this game against Brighton may be ideal for them. Graham Potter always sets his team up to attack, and that may leave spaces for Son to run in behind. Plus, Mat Ryan has the worst save percentage in the league, which must be a worry for the Seagulls. It would not be a shock to see Spurs bounce back from their European disappointment in style.

Over 2.5 Spurs Goals: 37/20

Fulham vs West Bromwich Albion - 5:30pm 2nd November

It’s no surprise to see these two sides down towards the bottom of the table. Fulham are 20th, and things look incredibly bleak for them, with a tough run of fixtures also coming up. They just don’t look good enough for this level, and it’s difficult to see where their points are going to come from. West Brom have looked a bit better and sit 17th after six games. In Karlan Grant, they have a striker that could grab some crucial goals for them, such as the late equaliser at Brighton. As they’ve been the more impressive side so far, we’re going for a Baggies win here.

West Brom To Win: 39/20

Leeds United vs Leicester City - 8:00pm 2nd November

Leeds United have received plenty of praise for their style of play, and it’s more than deserved. They took apart Aston Villa last week, with Patrick Bamford getting a hat-trick out of nowhere. Their pressing style is extraordinarily intense and can cause opponents to panic on the ball. Leicester have several issues at the back too, with Soyuncu and Castagne out injured, with Evans as a major doubt. It’s going to be a tough Monday night for the Foxes, and we’re predicting a home win for Marcelo Bielsa’s side at Elland Road.

Leeds United To Win: 31/20
