It’s good to understand basic blackjack strategies when playing LeoVegas Free Bet or any other blackjack variation we offer, for that matter. Here are a few tips:
If the dealer shows an ace, Insurance is offered. If the dealer has 21 and you take the Insurance bet, you’ll be paid 2:1.
If there’s no blackjack and the first card isn’t an ace, you can decide to hit, stand, double, or split. *The double is a free bet if your hard hand value is 9,10 or 11.
Splitting is an option, although you won’t want to if you’re looking at two 10s.
Once everyone has made their choice, the dealer reveals their hand. If you have a better hand than the dealer, you’re paid 1:1 on their bet. If the dealer busts, all winning players get paid out.
Here’s a twist to note when playing LeoVegas Free Bet Blackjack: if the dealer busts with 22, the typically winning player's hands push.
Here are side bet action opportunities:
Any Pair – Suited Pair pays 25:1, Mixed Pair pays 8:1
21+3 – Suited Trips 100:1, Straight Flush 40:1, Trips 30:1, Straight 10:1, Flush 5:1
Hot 3 – Even money for 19, 2:1 for a 20, 4:1 for an unsuited 21, 20:1 for a suited 21, 100:1 for 3 x 7’s.
Bust It – Pays out on the dealer’s number of cards if they bust. If the dealer busts with a 22, the player’s hands all push (so this would be an insurance bet). Payouts are as follows: 3 cards 1:1, 4 cards 2:1, 5 cards 9:1, 6 cards 50:1, 7 cards 100:1, and 8 cards 250:1.
